COFFEE FARM OF THE MONTH

This month, we arrive at the Republic of Nicaragua.

Finca La Rubia has been producing coffee for 18 years. This farm is in a dense forest area where the water originates from mountain springs. The workers are all from families that live around the farm. The coffee from this farm has submitted their coffee to the Nicaragua Cup of Excellence and recently qualified in the top 15 in the country. Estimated production is 600 bags per year.

Coffee Beans Variation - Rescue Me Coffee Co.

The Process

It all begins when the bean (seed) is planted

After four years of careful cultivation we see the first fruit called the Coffee Cherry

When the cherry is red and ripe, it is harvested by hand

The seed (coffee bean) is removed, dried and cleaned

The green beans are prepared for export

Know More About

Rescue Me Coffee Co.

Rescue Me Coffee Co. grew from our absolute love of our own rescue dogs and our love of coffee. With over 11 years micro roasting coffee with small farms around the world for two coffee shops in California, we thought it was time to marry our two loves and share them with the world while also supporting causes we believe in.

We are pleased to pass along to you the amazing results of their labor and roasting it perfectly for you.
